Joerg Dressler was born in Hanau, Germany. He received a Masters of Arts degree in Visual Communication from the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach, Germany, in 1994. Additionally, he studied typography at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, France.
Joerg moved to the United States in 1996. He is the recipient of the Romanos Rizk Scholarship at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and his work has been exhibited throughout Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Kentucky. His work has been published in The Boston Globe, ArtScope Magazine, One New England, Provincetown Arts, Cape Cod Live, Cape Cod Voice, Boston Spirit Magazine and Provincetown Banner.
