Megan writes: “Soft, earthy brushstrokes depict pastoral light and the natural landscape, surprisingly paired with inner expressive formal abstract formalism. A graphic quality of illustration, per his training as a designer, paired with expressive lyricism evokes a need for control while simultaneously displaying paint’s ability for spontaneous chance…Conceptually, the abstract forms disrupt nature to speak of environmental vulnerability: a suggestion of the artist’s concern for the lack of nature in our lives.”
